Comfort Options Available

For Botox treatments, we offer topical numbing agents at no additional cost if desired.
For filler treatments, enhanced topical numbing is available for a small additional fee. Because filler injections can be more sensitive, this option can significantly reduce discomfort and ease anxiety for those who are hesitant.
Please note: topical numbing for fillers requires approximately 20 additional minutes in your appointment to allow adequate time for application and effect before treatment begins.

Botox is most effective when maintained every 3–4 months to preserve results and support long-term prevention. Our packages help you stay on schedule so effects don’t fully wear off — allowing the preventative benefits to truly compound over time.
Hyaluronic acid fillers typically last anywhere from 8–16 months depending on area and metabolism. Package options are available for filler treatments as well, offering savings compared to a la carte pricing while maintaining a thoughtful treatment plan.

What is Botulinum Toxin Type A (Botox)?
Botulinum toxin type A is a purified protein that works by temporarily relaxing targeted facial muscles. By reducing repetitive muscle movement, it softens existing lines and helps prevent deeper wrinkles from forming over time.
It has been used safely in medicine for decades — not only for cosmetic purposes, but also for conditions such as muscle spasticity, eye disorders, excessive sweating, and migraine prevention.
When administered properly in appropriate doses by a trained medical provider, it is considered very safe.
Is Botox safe? Is it harmful?
Botox is FDA-approved for cosmetic use in specific areas of the face. It is not harmful when used appropriately and in proper dosing.
It does not “travel through your body,” and it does not permanently alter your muscles. Its effects are temporary and gradually wear off over 3–4 months.
What are the possible side effects of Botox?
Common side effects may include:
• Mild swelling or redness at injection sites
• Temporary bruising
• Mild headache
Rare but possible:
• Temporary eyelid droop
• Asymmetry
• Over-relaxation of a muscle
These effects are typically temporary and resolve on their own.
What is hyaluronic acid filler?
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance found in your skin and connective tissue. It helps retain moisture and maintain volume.
The HA used in dermal fillers is specially formulated and cross-linked to break down slowly over time, allowing it to provide structure and support for months rather than days.
You may even recognize hyaluronic acid as an ingredient in skincare creams — the injectable form simply allows us to place it precisely where volume or contour support is needed.
Is hyaluronic acid filler safe?
Yes. HA fillers are FDA-approved for specific areas of the face and have an excellent safety profile when administered by a trained medical provider.
We do not use permanent fillers in this practice. Permanent fillers may not age well with changes in facial structure over time. Our patients prefer a more nuanced, adaptable approach
How long does filler last? Is it permanent?
Hyaluronic acid fillers typically last between 8–16 months, depending on the treatment area and your metabolism.
They are not permanent, which is one of their greatest advantages. As your goals and facial structure evolve over time, treatment can be adjusted accordingly.
Is filler reversible?
Yes.
There is a reversal agent called hyaluronidase that can dissolve hyaluronic acid filler if necessary. This enzyme simply accelerates the natural breakdown process of HA.
While reversal is rarely needed when treatment is planned carefully, it provides an added layer of safety and reassurance.
Does it hurt?
Most patients describe Botox as quick and very tolerable.
Fillers can be more sensitive due to the volume placed. We offer topical numbing options for added comfort, and we take a calm, unhurried approach to minimize discomfort.
Is there downtime?
Most patients return to normal activity the same day.
You may experience mild swelling or bruising. We provide detailed aftercare instructions to support optimal results.
Is this part of the Hormone Clinic?
No. Antigravity Wellness Functional & Aesthetic Injections is a separate service line focused specifically on injectable treatments.
Our hormone optimization services are offered independently and require separate consultation and evaluation.
Do you accept insurance?
Cosmetic injectable treatments are cash-pay services.
For certain medical indications (such as migraine prevention), insurance coverage may be possible and varies by plan.
We do not bill insurance directly, but we are able to provide a superbill for submission to your carrier if appropriate.
What about Botox for migraine prevention?
Botulinum toxin type A is also FDA-approved for the prevention of chronic migraines.
For individuals experiencing frequent migraine headaches, targeted injections can significantly reduce the number of headache days and decrease overall severity. Migraine treatment uses a specific, evidence-based injection protocol that includes areas across the forehead, temples, back of the head, neck, and shoulders.
This treatment can be performed during the same appointment as your cosmetic treatment if desired — there is no need for a separate visit.
Insurance coverage for migraine treatment varies widely. We do not bill insurance directly; however, we can provide a superbill for possible partial reimbursement for the specific migraine treatment areas and corresponding units used for medical treatment. Coverage is not guaranteed.
